GBS is proud to announce Rewards Checking also known as "Ultimate Checking" from Sharetec.  Ultimate Checking is designed to encourage and reward Credit Union members for using electronic services, and provides Credit Unions with a powerful tool to draw and retain new customers.  This new product allows the Credit Union to customize its checking account program to waive fees and pay bonus dividends based on services used.

Unlike typical free checking accounts, Ultimate Checking is a free checking account with no minimum balance that earns a high dividend rate if the member meets specific technology-based requirements each month.  The Ultimate Checking program is flexible and can be tailored to fit rewards and requirements.  Because Ultimate Checking is based on the use of required services, account holders are motivated to use technology-based, lower cost services that strengthen the bottom line.

The GBS/Sharetec system maintains the processing without the human capital.  Credit Union personnel can measure customer performance through simple inquiry.  Members can gauge their own performance through the use of Sharetec Home Banking.  The Sharetec Ultimate Checking program is both integrated and automated to insure ease of use for both the Credit Union and member.  Further, the metrics and rewards are integrated into the GBS/Sharetec Rewards program.  Once Reward program parameters are set, the system will automatically track, reward accounts, and reset any counters at the appropriate time.
