Color-Coding Labels  

The use of color-coding is an accepted practice that provides for fast, accurate filing and mis-file control. Files can be color-coded alphabetically, sequentially or in terminal digit. Whether filing by letter or number, color-coding will improve your system. Distinct colors are assigned to each letter of the alphabet or to the numbers 0 – 9. As folders are color-coded and filed, significant color blocks are formed that speed filing and prevent mis-files from occurring. Systems include:
